Illogical Reasoning

What is the best means to reason with illogic behavior or, even worse, the illogic behavior of a network. Who is to say the reasoning is logical at all and perhaps it is the prsumed illogic network that is completely logical and sane. I'm sure this has happened countless times before. At what point does one cease to care and let their frustration make the decisions or, even worse again, the frustration is directed at others for their less than stellar behavior (in the viewpoint of the frustrated). All I can say is my brother has always managed to find a way to be the center of attention even when his health is failing and those around him have perpetuated and awakened old grudges and suspicions and continued to disagree on what my brother should do, hasn't done, and better do before its too late and whose fault it really is. There is a definite domino effect and a recycling of history in the making if smart decisions are not made soon. Let's hope cooler, and more practical, minds prevail. Just this once.

Always Learning

Last Wednesday I walked in during the fourth quater of an 8th grade CYO game. The score was very close and crowd was into each play as the lead continued to change hands. What was I doing in this gym? I was waiting to begin my team's abbreviated practice which happened to occur on the same court. As the clock ticked closer to zero and with the score still tied the opposing team was to conduct an inbounds pass play. For a reason the home team's coach may still not know he started to shout at his players to play certain positions such as 'Ron you're a guard,..'. This made the entire home team turn and look at the coach and meanwhile the opposing team inounded the ball to a player right under the basket who made an easy basket and whose team jumped out in front with a two point lead they would not give up. Game situations are not easy to coach, especially when time is almost expired and the game is on the line. Seeing this particular mistake of another coach and making my own inevitable mistakes will always be part of the learning process. Good to have something to look forward to.
